Anna Colin
Anna Colin is an independent curator, educator, researcher, and gardener based in East Kent. Anna is practically and theoretically engaged with critical pedagogy, social practice, alternative modes of instituting, and critical and participatory landscaping. Anna was a co-founder and director of Open School East, an independent art school and community space in London then Margate (2013-20). She worked as associate curator at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris (2014-20), associate director at Bétonsalon – Centre for art and research, Paris (2011-12), and curator at Gasworks, London (2007-10). Anna is a lecturer on the MFA Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London. She recently co-curated the 2nd edition of the Art & Industry Triennale in Dunkerque (2023) on the relationship between energy and the arts in the last five decades. She holds a PhD in cultural geography from the University of Nottingham and is training in horticulture and permaculture design.
