For organisations, our bespoke training, project management, and consultancy services ensure seamless and successful artist collaborations. Training for artists

We develop tailored training programmes for artists.

We specialise in supporting early career artists, underrepresented in the art world, with exceptional and diverse practices. Our annual, free, training programme supports ten artists through a rigorous selection process which represents a significant investment in each individual.

Training for organisations
We have several training offers for cultural organisations.
We offer regular day-long training opportunities for individuals, on-site in our offices in the centre of Camden, as well as bespoke and in-house programmes. We also run ‘Museums Working with Artists: Collaborative Practices’, an online training programme delivered in partnership with the V&A Academy.

Consultants & project managers
Organisations can enlist Art School Plus to provide support through project management or consultancy services.
Collaboration on commissions
Art School Plus partners with organisations to collaboratively develop and realise unique art projects and commissions.
Examples of collaborations include projects with the Imperial War Museums and Hackney Council.
Training for artists
Art School Plus trains, for free, exceptional and underserved early-career artists in public realm best practices and continues to work with them on impactful and unique art projects.

How do I apply?
Art School Plus represents a considerable investment in each individual, we want to select the very best artists at the right moment in their career. It is a competitive and rigorous process, and we take every care to make the application and selection process as thorough and fair as possible.

Working with Artists: Developing Your Project
Working with Artists: Developing Your Project is a day-long professional development programme. Hosted in the heart of Camden (a historic place for creatives and artists), this course equips participants with the tools needed to develop, plan, and execute successful artist collaborations with multiple stakeholders. By the end of the day, all attendees will have developed the outline of an artist brief.
