Development Worker For Curating and Engagement, Glasgow Women's Library

Caroline Gausden is a development worker for programming and curating at Glasgow Women's Library. Before working at GWL Caroline was based in Gray's School of Art, in Aberdeen where she completed a practice based PhD in Feminist Manifestos and Social Art Practice. Caroline has written for a number of publications and contributed book chapters to Accessibility, Inclusion and Diversity in Critical Event Studies (2019) and Curating with Care (2023). She recently co-curated the exhibitions No Cover Up with Ingrid Pollard and Life Support with artists including Olivia Plender, Martha Rosler and Alberta Whittle. Since Life Support she has continued to work with Olivia in a long term way and ,due to lived experience, is in the unique position of being both curator and participant in the ongoing project Our Bodies are not the Problem, The Problem is Power
