Elinor Hayes
Elinor Hayes is Creative Producer for content and communications at Shape Arts. She has previously worked in commercial and public arts contexts, including Wellcome Collection, Museum of London, Bold Tendences, Heong Gallery, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Coming from a background in social anthropology, Elinor’s curatorial practice is focused on creating platforms and spaces to exchange stories of human experience and creative experimentation. Working with Shape Arts, accessibility – conceived broadly – is the foundation upon which all of Elinor’s work is designed. She is interested in exploring the specific, historic socio-political context of British art in the way it relates to public-private relations, freedom and control, and collective identity. Elinor is part of the 2023 British Art Network Emerging Curators Group facilitated by Tate and Paul Mellon Centre.
